The key to maintaining the beauty and luster of your brass jewelry is proper storage. Storing your jewelry in the right way will protect it from tarnishing or oxidation (unless you like the 'ancient adornment look, we do!), scratches, or damage.

STORAGE

The most important thing to remember with storing brass jewelry is sealing out moisture. You can store your jewelry in it’s original plastic (compostable!) packaging that you receive it in from us. You can also store your brass in a jewelry box or soft pouch that seals out dust particles and moisture. Ideally you want to store your brass jewelry in a cool, dry place.

We recommend not storing your brass jewelry in areas like the bathroom counter or shower as these are areas high in humidity that will cause it to patina more quickly.

Every piece of brass jewelry we share is designed to live on as heirloom jewelry. Brass is extremely durable and can be passed down generation after generation. These care tips will help your special piece last a lifetime.
