This piece was named 'Adas' due to its lenticular shape, but the silhouette is a representation of more thoughtful contemplations. It began unintentionally, but in my designs I often return to oblong, egg-like shapes. The simplicity of a sphere is forever timeless, yet the slight distortion or elongation in silhouette- for me communicates the journey of humanity: an imperfect path towards balance. We seek growth and healing from our imperfections with the goal of becoming 'well-rounded'.
May Adas serve as a reminder that through the humble acknowledgement of our imperfections, we expand to grow through and beyond them.
